Spelling pitfalls in IELTS
Common spelling errors need to avoid while having preparation for IELTS. Many students commit common mistakes in spelling often. Most of the words are little confusing which require special attention for preparation. Spelling errors can cost you in IELTS examination. 2: Silent letters in English is to be given attention. It may create mispronunciation and spelling errors. If it is not well known how to pronounce or write correctly then sometime, you may face writing errors.

3: Most of English words that sound similar. It may bring confusion to understand but accuracy of learning is important. Words that having similar sounds are called homonyms. It is in two categories. 1: Homographs ( words that are may have the same spelling, but different meaning ) 2: Homophones ( words that sound the same, but have different meaning and different spelling )

4: Position of 'i' and 'e' . It is apparently seen that many of words come across with the letter 'i' can be together. In some words, 'i' is followed by 'e' while in others it is just the reverse.

6: Confusing suffix with 'or' 'er' and '-ar'. The words ends with the sound of 'or' and 'er' always bring confusions. You need to pay your careful attention about these words.
